After the declaration of the State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines under Proclamation No. 992, s. 2020 by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the National Printing Office (NPO) has initiated steps to contain or prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), mitigate its effects and impact as well as to prevent serious disruptions in the operations of National Printing Office.

A memorandum was issued by the Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) dated 12 March 2020 directing all attached agencies including the National Printing Office to conduct disinfection of all offices within Forty-Eight-Hours (48) hrs.
Likewise, the agencies are reminded to adopt other necessary measures to prevent possible spread of the infection, in accordance with the guidelines from the Department of Health and the Civil Service Commission.
