The National Printing Office celebrated “Buwan ng Wika” through song and dance presentation during their Flag Ceremony. it is headed by the Administrative Division as Flag Ceremony host for the month of July.

OVERVIEW

The “Buwan ng Wika” is a celebration in the Philippines held during the month of August. It is extended celebration of “Linggo ng Wika” which extended on January 15, 1997 through Proclamation Number 1041 by former President Fidel V. Ramos. It is usually celebrated in school. In this regards, many events has been organized to celebrate it, like a simultaneous pronunciation, poetic, slogan making, producing essays reciting poetry, dancing folk dance and singing folks songs.
